The Long Haul Bed is GUNNER’s premium kennel bed engineered for dogs that spend serious time on the road. Developed for nearly three years to create a more durable, more comfortable and waterproof resting place from driveway to destination. Built for maximum recovery.

It starts at the base. A non-skid 900D TPU bottom keeps the bed locked in place — no shifting, no bunching, no adjusting in the dark before a 4am drive. The durable Oxford top fabric is built for claws, movement, and the kind of repeat use that destroys lesser beds. Backed by a water and tear-resistant finish, it's ready for whatever your dog brings into the kennel.

Care

Cleaning Instructions:

• Disassembles and reassembles in seconds with thoughtful construction, abrasion-tested materials & dual heavy-duty zippers.
• Cover: Spot clean first. If you need a more thorough clean, machine wash on cold in a gentle cycle. Air dry strongly suggested, but can be tumble dried (on low!) if in a pinch.
• Core: Simply hose off and let air dry.

Good To Know:
The Long Haul Bed is made with durable Oxford top fabric built for claws, movement, and repeat use and a non-skid 900D TPU base, but nothing is 100% "chew proof." This product may not be suitable for dogs who chew, those with anxiety and/or teething puppies.

The core is springy but won’t deform as quickly as foam, providing optimal orthopedic comfort. We chose the interior & exterior materials for durability & joint support across a wide weight range.

COOLING CORE

The 3-D Loop core offers 100% airflow that better regulates their temp in hot & cold seasons. It's the same technology used in mattresses for newborn babies, fortified for GUNNER use.

NON-SKID BASE

Made from a waterproof TPU-coated material (same as our All-Weather Kit) that stays put on hardwood, concrete or tile. If your dog goes hard like Chevy, you'll both be thankful.

"I have been running the performance pad and the ortho pad intermittently, depending on whether we were traveling or running events with the dogs, etc. While they both worked great sometimes it was a hassle to have both of the beds or I would stack the ortho bed on top of the performance pad until we got where we’re going. Having the ability of a comfortable bed like the ortho pad, but also the ability of all purpose with being waterproof, etc. it makes play and work go hand-in-hand. Definitely the best bed for the Gunner kennels on the market."

Best kennel pad yet

"I have a Boykin Spaniel that loves his kennels. He now has one of these for his travel kennel for longer stints. Fabric and material inside is plush enough to keep him comfortable and the exterior is still rugged enough that I don’t have to worry about ruining the pad if he’s damp or dirty. Will definitely be getting another one for his larger kennel at home!"

Nala, German Shepherd

"I personally have not slept in the crate, or on the new bed. But, our German Shepherd has done both. Our intentional reasoning for the Large Gunner kennel, was for Nala to be able to ride in the bed of our truck without being overly concerned with the Gunner Kennel being secured. Nala rarely rides in the truck, but, the Kennel is her nite nite security. She is 5 years old now, and has absolutely no issues of told to Kennel or "box". Spoiled dog is a huge understatement. With the Kennel staying indoors, and the fan blowing on her, she knows she has a very spoiled life. Lol. Wes Wilson"

Long haul bed

"We got the orthopedic bed originally. I bought the long haul bed as soon as it came out, the first trip we took was 3 hours and usually when my dog gets up from laying down when traveling shes slow like she's stiff from the ride. This time with the long haul bed she popped right up and was ready to go. When we were away I took the pad out of her kennel and she slept on it next to the bed and didn't move. Usually she's bouncing around from spot to spot trying to find somewhere comfy. She loves her new long haul bed."
